Experience

With over 25 years’ experience in landscape services, Lori and Tim partnered up in 2011 to create Kern Custom Landscape Inc.

Kern Custom Landscape is family owned and operated.

Born and raised in Bakersfield and Wasco, The Streiff family has been a part of this community since 1928 when Lori’s Great Grandfather settled in Wasco. Being raised in a farming family is where Lori developed her love for the outdoors. She earned degrees in agriculture, soil science, and environmental science. After having a successful career in agriculture, she decided to turn to the ornamental side of her background to create wonderful outdoor living spaces for KCL clients.

Tim is a Modesto transplant that has worked in the landscape construction industry for 25 years. His specialties include ponds and water features. Tim designs water-efficient irrigation systems custom to each yard, so our clients can have a beautiful yard and still save water.

MEET THE TEAM

Lori Streiff – President/CEO

As principal designer, Lori communicates directly with the clients. Using your ideas to create a wish list of landscape concepts, she will take your dreams and make them a reality.

Tim Jackson – Vice President

Using decades of landscape experience, Tim guides his team to construct and install every unique element of your custom landscape design. He also assures each team member is well trained and performs their job with integrity and pride in their craftsmanship.

Rod Streiff – Safety and Supply Manager

With such a variety of materials used to create both functional end elegant landscapes, Rod manages the logistics to make sure the products arrive when they need to be installed and assure the project stays on track.  Rod also assures that every product is being installed correctly and safely on site.
